Yes, this is a default behaviour for Navbar Search

"Hi Sonia, I'm still waiting to hear back from dev team as I've been told a lot of stuff is still on hold with Modus , but as far as the design requirements, the search bar animation is not part of our MVP. It is a nice to have though. I'm recommending e-Builder builds it if we have the bandwidth for it, otherwise it will become part of a second phase for us."

Maha to check with Ewa what is "submission" label. If it is from a product, mark it as external request else it should be called "tiger-team-submission" with proper description.
