Not Turning On #12

The device won't turn on, holding the on/off button many times does nothing.

Can't use recovery SD card because requires to turn on the device with the recovery SD card inserted

Last time I used it, I turn it off by going to Settings-> System-> Power off

Later on, when I tried to use it again it just didn't turn on, I notice that the back of the device was still warm after leaving "off" for about 1:20 hours, searching online I found that it could be fix by disconnecting the battery, i did that and it worked.

The back of the device was warm all the time while I was trying to find a solution and then disassembly it, then inside, the CPU was very hot to the touch, I could only think that the processor got stuck on something while shutting off. I suspect that is not the first time it happened to me because one night I turn it off with plenty battery charge, and in the morning the battery was dead, I though maybe I left it on sleep mode.

Had a similar thing, the device turned on with SD recovery card while being connected to PC via USB.

@romque, I'll try that if happens again
