Invisible, intangible biologics. Ghosts? #85

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Gamma Messier II
2. Run Biological scan
3. Go down on lander to location of biologic reading
4. There's nothing there!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

As stated, the biologics are either not there, or invisible and intangible.
I've flown my lander directly over where they should be, and have fired several
shots. It's like they're sensor ghosts or something.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version 0.2.1. OS Windows Vista 32bit.

Please provide any additional information below.

See screenshot. Also all biologics on this planet seem to be effected.

Actually, a little post-scriptum: This was actually a pretty cool bug to
experience. It doesn't affect other planets as far as I can tell (though my
exploration has not brought me far outside NAFS space), and the 'hidden'
biologics made me feel like I was in an episode of Star Trek Voyager or
something.

I seen these invisible life forms too and i thought it was just a glitch. But
when i talked to the Melnorme and i traded them my knowledge of the discovery i
found on Gamma Janus II they opened up to me and told me that some of there
agents where on route to the Messeir constellation to investigate something.
although he did not give a reason why some of the Melnorme were heading to
Messier it seems to me that the reason for this glitch is because either the
Melnorme captured all the life forms first or these strange sensor
readings/Game glitch had attracted them to Messier.
