Official Teradata Connector for Trino #15001

Hi, I saw this unmaintained (>5 years) Trino connector to Teradata: https://github.com/jmrozanec/trino-teradata-connector and I was wondering why it was never merged to Trino's upstream (this) repository?

I also noticed this and that regarding the enterprise version of Starburst: https://docs.starburst.io/latest/connector/starburst-teradata.html

But I'm obviously leaning towards obtaining a free and open-source Trino connector to Teradata.

Maintainers / core developers, your thoughts?

I'm still looking into building one as none of the available resources seemed to do the trick for me in finalizing a working presto-teradata connector. Any available guides ?
