Tiny tokens get whipped about following a med size leader #29

My mage's familiar is Tiny, so 1/4 of a square. I'd like to have the familiar follow the main character around but the tiny token ends up being "thrown" to the far side of squares seemingly randomly rather than being kept immediately next to the leader in formation.

Are there any recommendations to use this for the smaller tokens?

I am not quite sure if its related to the size of the follower token just yet.

Could you provide an image of the tokens arrangement when you create the squadron and what "mode" are you using for it? Formation or Linked?

I suspect that you are using Formation mode, which is probably not what you want for a familiar that is, effectively, "attached" to its leader token. Try CTRL+Drag or "Linked" mode if you haven't already.
