TripleA now shows version number as part of app name under Windows, i.e. I see TripleA-2.1.20395 #7095

How can the problem be recreated?

Download and install the latest version of TripleA to Windows 10.

Do you have any ideas for an expected fix?

I don't recall this being part of the name for the application previously, it should just say "TripleA", as it does on the application's title bars. At least, that's my opinion. :)

If playing a prerelease, which version are you using?

Game Version: 2.1.20440

Just to be sure, are you talking about the title bar here (please ignore the yellow marking, I originally needed this screenshot for a different purpose):

setup ?

If yes, it doesn't bother me, as I can reassure myself, that I am installing the version I want at that point. It is helpful when managing all the pre-release downloads.

Got a bit confused as well. Win 10, installed a few consecutive updates, chose "Update installation" each time.

Now when i go to startmenu and search for TripleA I see version 2.0.20183 However when I open that the game itself shows me it actually is the last update, 2.1.20365.

At first i thought the updates had failed, but the installation just seems to forget to tell windows there's an updated installation.

Hmm... I haven't seen that problem (though I do overwrite existing install on my machine), and I haven't looked to see what the installer title bar says, but the app title bar definitely doesn't show the version number.

Can you still launch from the menu?

Launch from the startmenu? Works fine, it just shows the wrong number.
