Circle CI insists on running the nightly job on every push #77

There seems to be an odd gap in CircleCI which makes it hard to run only on a scheduled trigger. I checked "only build pull requests" as an interim fix to at least not build for every push to master; ideally I should also update .circleci/config.yml to also not build pull requests, which should then leave room for other jobs to possibly build PRs separately.
