image orientation #517

having some problems with image orientation.

image taken on cell phone inserts exif tag from accelerometer re:orientaion transfer image to computer, software accomodates exif tag and shows image upright - but doesnt save the new orientation upload image to filemanager - it reverts to original tag and image is upside down still

I am using an older version of filemanager - but havent found anything in changelog to say it is fixed.

I have the same problem. I think there should be a patch to optionally remove exif or at least some of it's properties.

@jarodium on the latest version - exif tags remain intact, and orientation appeared correct - are you still having problems?

My intent was to be able to remove all exif and orientation as an option. But will upgrade to the latest version to check how it's working.
