Upgrade Cypress and axios

Scope of changes

Upgrade Cypress and axios versions. Also fixes handling of error messages for VASP directory lookup on the home page.

Note: SC-23916 has been created to resolve a TypeError that appears when navigating to step 5 of the registration form.
