Hello @yanavery sorry didn't see your comment. There is only one thermostat shown in the Home-UI. The SwingMode/Osciallate is issued for AUX. You need to go to the settings of the thermostat to access the swing mode etc. This is a bit tricky in the home.app but with other apps as ControllerForHomeKit for example much easier.
Hope this answers the question for you!
Hi @tritter, thanks for your response and sorry for the delay in getting back on my end ... I unfortunately haven't had time to further look into this yet, but I will soon-ish and get back with any follow-ups. I don't mind if you want to close this issue for the time being, up to you. Thanks for your understanding,
Describe Your Problem:
In the Home app, I'm not seeing the TEMP control with the AUTO/HEAT/COOL/OFF options below (like I do on my other temperature controls and as seen on the screenshot from here).
In the Home app, all I see is a button that displays the temperature but when I click on it, it turns the fireplace ON or OFF (sometimes and with significant delay) and other times, it doesn't do anything or it looks like it turns ON the AUX, at least that's what I'm seeing by looking at the logs.
I also noticed that it switches the mode between Manual/Temperature/Off, but I'm not seeing any buttons in the Home app, so I'm not sure how this happening and under what conditions as I thought I'd need to click on AUTO/HEAT/COOL/OFF for any of this to happen, but I'm not seeing that ...
I'm confused and would appreciate any help getting to the bottom of this.
Thanks,
