Most of the nowadays identity providers switch from OpenId to OAuth2. Most notably:

Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Amazon

However, need to change the frontend and backend authentication libraries.
Porting existing password-less accounts is a serious problem with this idea.
