Update.cbd file vs Update folder #2

I am able to flash my own customized Marlin 2.1/2.0 to my X5SA Pro using update.cbd file without any problems at all. However, after building this project, copying the update folder does not work. It's the CHITU V6 191017 mainboard. What is the difference here? It seems like one single update.cbd file is easier than an entire folder. What is the difference here?

This is because the old chitu bootloader is still installed on your board. Possibly @tronxy3d would be so nice and could make the bootloader 1.64 (or newer) for STM32F103 available here.

Several months ago, Tronxy Support did upload, here in the Issues section, updated Bootloaders for each mainboard type. But later while updating the firmware files, instead of creating a new repository Branch, they deleted the complete repository and then created a new repository with the updated files. So, all the reported Issues in the original repository were also deleted and are now gone along with the updated Bootloaders. Shame on them.
