watermark throwing script errors in IE8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. in IE set options to show EVERY javascript error
2. load attached file in ie8 and hit reload 
3. get error embedded in <pre> tag
4. comment out jquery-watermark script tag, and don't get error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Jquery watermark should not throw script errors especially if never used on page

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

3.1.3 (latest)

after looking at the specific problem, looks like this is a known issue with 
jquery 1.5.2

Yes, this was also mentioned in issue #58:

Actually, it looks like they DID fix it, and the fix will be in 1.6.
