According to https://docs.sonarqube.org/latest/instance-administration/plugin-version-matrix/ it's compatible with 8.3 It does not mention 8.4 According to https://docs.sonarqube.org/latest/extend/developing-plugin/#header-4 the changes in 8.4 should be backward compatible
