version 1.4 crashes when opening PDF file with JPEG2000 images #133

Trying to open the 
http://www.archive.org/download/diepsychologiede00brenuoft/diepsychologiede00bre
nuoft.pdf with either evince, epdfview or mupdf from Fedora 16 crashes the 
application.

It seems that it might be a bug in openjpeg-1.4. I have reported the bug at 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=799631.

Could you be so kind to check whether this is a bug in openjpeg?

it's a downstream bug @ fedora, we applied a recommended (by poppler) patch to 
openjpeg-1.4, but it appears to have changed it's ABI, so we've reverted that, 
and queued an update,
