Thanks @jwarrell. I'm gonna merge now because it might be good to have it here for the workshop, but when you get a chance, it would be nice if you can add more comments, like a top comment explaining what you're doing and such.

Oh, BTW, maybe I've merged too fast (I was expedient cause I'm busy preparing the workshop), maybe you @vsbogd and @Necr0x0Der wanted to have a closer look at it?

Thanks, @ngeiswei . I had a closer look before PR. The only thing is that Vitaly with me wanted to make a tagged version of MeTTa, which could be used to indicate the examples are guaranteed to work, but it is not too critical.
