Short description of the app

Telegraf is an open source agent written in Go for collecting metrics and data on the system it's running on or from other services. Telegraf writes data it collects to InfluxDB in the correct format.

I'm late to the party, but would definitively love to see Telegraf implemented. AFAIK there's no way of using Telegraf on a TrueNAS SCALE system that's supported or isn't prone to issues.

Using the official image in a container isn't possible, as mapping anything outside of /mnt isn't allowed, and installing Telegraf directly isn't supported and would get nuked on the next update anyway.

Reopening, but that does not mean a maintainer will actively work on it. At least not any time soon.

Also, afaik lauch docker allows /mnt and /sys

You can also use custom-app which do not have those restrictions (assuming you have disbaled host path validation if you are on RC1 or higher)

Thanks, that's interesting, didn't about this change in Bluefin. Of course that would make this entire endeavor quite pointless I assume.

We've decided to not-accept issues for chart requests anymore, because the vast majority of the issue tracker if flooded with them and we don't (and never have) actually plan to do anything with chart requests as maintainers.

Please join the discord to continue discussing chart requests :)
