Based on JS/Typescript/Rust/Tokio/V8. Sounds absolutely fascinating. And I'm a fan of things created by the create of all things Node.

Tasks:

[ ] explore what is Deno
[ ] Answer the question: is there a there there?
[ ] Could something in the specification of Deno be adopted for D, on top of the D-runtime?
[ ] scope the effort

Related to #59 and #51.

There are quite a lot of interesting promises made with the platform. One of them is around security. Lots to dig into here.

This could simply be the second coming of Node.js in Rust instead of a pure C++/V8 runtime ... need to get informed.
