Please dont remove option to use Webview.

Using "chrome desktop" useragent + webview + chromecast googletv with everything latest and updated.

Something is seriously wrong with Geckoview, I dont know what, Im not technically knowledgable, but it lags, while with Webview it works beautifully (and strangely) flawlessly lagfree as someone would very much hope and want. I also remember using this TV from ISP with same setup like a year ago, when Geckoview update wasnt yet available and I dont remember lagging back then like it does with Geckoview now.

No problem! WebView will be kept :) Unfortunately, I have already seen enough user reports that GecoView is slow. It looks like GecoView developers don't care about weak devices anymore but most Android TV devices have weak specs (memory and CPU) so WebView which is more optimized seems to be in demand here for a long time to come. ps: It probably will be necessary to come up with some new message at the start of TV Bro and recommend using GecoView only to users with devices where, for example, more than 2 GB of RAM and a processor with 8+ cores.

If you would like some technical feedback from my side, to help you develop this browser more deeply just say what I need to provide.

My setup is seriously demanding and strange: 1) while my wifi great, I dont know if my chromecast is broken or what, after lots of head scratching I managed to find a spot for the physical chromecast to be in, to not buffer the stream (lose connectivity or wtf, im not touching it anymore, this is using 5ghz) 2) im also using 2x BT speakers in TWS mode (soundcore motion+) and I seriously believe 2,4ghz wifi is messing with stability of the connection to the speakers (or chromecast is broken) 3) while all these problems were somewhat fixed, geckoview still produced "crackling sounds" and "stuttering sounds" that I cannot stand in anyway. As I said, webview works SERIOUSLY and STRANGELY flawlessly in video and audio. I believe it is being correctly accelerated by media ASIC in webview, while in geckoview it is not! 4) also using HDMI>DVI adapter to this DVI-only monitor. Yes, extreme cheap setup which works B E A U T I F U L Y with webview

I would also like to congratulate to the person that invented TVBro's navigation for this remote-only UI. A proper genius.
