OSX issue #13

I'm sure this is a known issue, but as of this version Darwin doesn't seem to be on the "supported os" list in utils.py

this issue is very old. Could you explain in more detail which the problem is?

This can be closed most likely. In 2017, the latest pySMART release on PyPI did not contain this commit yet, which removed all OS-specific code: https://github.com/truenas/py-SMART/commit/d4bedec8e2a1e4516ade1dcc9e81a4214b122732 E.g. I see an array there which defines minimum smartctl versions, but only for Windows, Linux and FreeBSD.
