Error: EXDEV: cross-device link not permitted, rename #13

does anyone know how to fix this? full error looks like so:

$ truffle unbox react Downloading... events.js:163 throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event ^

Error: EXDEV: cross-device link not permitted, rename '/home/davekaj/Desktop/Crypto-Dev/truffle/truffle-react-box/1499396196726-8478197198597666/react-box-master' -> '/tmp/tmp-8865HTmCImGeZVr'

I had the same issue? Did you get anywhere with it?

no i never got it to work sadly

Is the OS Windows? We should be rolling out an update today if that's the case. Will comment here again once it's released.

Same. I was able to get it working by installing the app in a folder on my main Ubuntu system drive, instead of another mounted drive. The problem is related to renaming things across separate drives, I think you should use a more robust command like mv for linux unpacks.

This should be fixed in the latest Truffle release (v3.4.4).

EDIT: The above is in reference to Windows, re-opened for Linux.
