Hey guys, I followed your instructions and got this result:

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Contract has not been deployed to detected network (network/artifact mismatch)

truffle unbox react
compile
migrate

What am I did wrong? Is this project dead?

Turn off metamask and everything will work, or compile it and migrate to ganache rpc and then you can interact through metamask
