System Error when running Ganache 2.5.4 on win32 #3875

@MicaiahReid, sorry I am new to this, what does that mean?

@fansari6, no worries! This is our bad, not yours. We had some name and repository changes with our tooling that caused the Ganache UI tool to automatically make issues in the wrong repository. I was just moving the issue to allow us to properly triage it as a Ganache UI issue.

@MicaiahReid so when will it get fixed? Would I need to download the install package again and reinstall? Waiting to be able to run Ganache right now.

I have the following installed on my computer:

Windows 11 NodeJS version - 16.13.2

After trying to reinstall everything, I now have:

chocolatey version 0.12.0 node version 17.4.0 npm version 8.3.1

But after reinstall Ganache, I am getting the same error,

Note from Truffle Support Team per ticket#725447:

fansari6 : tried to roll back to Windows 11 but it only allowed to roll back to the last Windows 11 update. Anyway, after that, I reinstalled NodJS and then Ganache. I am finally able to run Ganache

Just FYI Ganache-2.5.4-win-setup.exe is the one that worked. Just tested on my second computer also. Ganache-2.5.4-win-x64.appx did not work on either computer. I think the rollback to the previous version may not be required since I am still running on Windows 11. Ganache-2.5.4-win-x64.appx may have some issues in itself or with Windows 11.
