Just updated both OC and OSX, and noticed the CPU package temp is no longer reported. AMD Power Gadget however works 100%. Specifically using iStat to report temp.

Hi, Many system monitoring app just hardcode there menus with specify SMBIOS model, so they excepts different combination of SMC keys depends on your chosen SMBIOS model. Please refer to this discussion #10 for more.
