Hi guys. I know it's not within the scope of this KEXT, yet are there any similar developments for a VirtualSMC plugin(s) for AMD/ATI Radeon cards?

Hi @influenist, I haven’t heard of any kext for this purpose. However iStats seems to be working fine reading sensors for my RX580. Have your tried it?

@TurannUl it is certainly possible to have a kext to do GPU monitoring, but I have no plan to implement them in this kext.

@trulyspinach You sure its not the CPUs GPU? Earlier I thought I could read out the RX570, since a while I dont get any GPU info. In windows I can read them out, so it isnt a hardware issue.

Which version of VMC are you using anyway?

iStats is able to monitor RX580. I believe it is able to monitoring any GPU model as long as macOS has driver.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Im using Mac Pro (Late 2013) in clover. Perhaps this is the root cause of my issue. I'll check it out later.
