Otherwise, I think you might have multiple instance of the application in your filesystem. Try to delete all of them and downloaded the latest version then put it into application folder before starting.
Honestly was only solved about 2 days ago when I finally had some time to sit down. I removed all traces of the app, downloaded the newest Kexts and app again. Deleted the "old" kexts from EFI, moved the new ones into EFI and rebooted. This removed the app from startup and background tasks. I then launched the app and added it to the login items, rebooted and all seems to be good.
Just in case the picture doesn't speak volumes. Latest kexts downloaded, OpenCore 0.8.4. I get this error every boot. If i quit and reopen it, it works just fine.
