when I use cinebench to test performance, the 2990WX frequency will be reduced to a stable 3.6GHz, and when rendered using Houdini, the frequency will fluctuate between 3.88 ~ 3.90GHz. In addition, this version will also cause Houdini to exit unexpectedly after rendering for a short time.

Hi @orkoid, I appreciate your efforts in sharing the feedback, though I am not sure what you are referring to as "provoke war".

Answers to your concerns:

• I guess you are referring to testing the software. Yes I have had it tested on Threadripper 2990WX. In addition, the screenshot you've uploaded are more likely resulted by small GUI issue, which is not related to neither kext nor the processor. Current focus of this project is not to fix every minor GUI bug, but still you are welcomed to fix it and submit a pull request.
• Your processor will remind under its P0 frequency unless Core Performance Boost was enabled. Which will slightly increase per core frequency while maintaining are constant power load under value defined by P0.

Threadripper 2990WX is also a family 17h processors, which means what breaks on it will also breaks on every other family 17h processors like Ryzen 3.

On the other hand, as mentioned by another community member, I do want to point a few things out here:

• This software is expected to contain bugs. Though implicit, you are also joined as part of "testing" as stated by the license you've agreed on when you start using this software. So please watch out for the language you use and respect other community members.
