Awesome work to start! It is much appreciated. Just a heads up, I get no readings at all with my Ryzen 1700. Tried iStat and HW monitor. High Sierra 10.13.6, OpenCore 5.5. Let me know how I can help if possible.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Have you tried if AMD Power Gadget will present to you any reading?

Try the pre merge release: https://github.com/necross2/SMCAMDProcessor/releases/tag/0.3

The AMD power gadget wont run on High Sierra. Says it needs 10.14 and up to run when I try to open it. I'll try the latest pre merge in the AM! Thanks for looking into this :)

Yeah cause I’ve set the minimum target to 10.14. This will be fixed in the next release

Support for 10.13 was added with to latest release, https://github.com/trulyspinach/SMCAMDProcessor/releases/tag/0.2.1

Could you download and check if it is working?

tikizondo94 commented 4 years ago

Ok, tried the latest 0.2.1 Kext. Still a no go. When trying to open AMD Power Gadget i get "SMCAMDProcessor.kext not found, quit-download". Also no sensor readings within iStat or HW Monitor. Sorry to bring bad news..

I have just published a new release with fixes for 10.13, and will close this issue for now.

Please open a new one if there are issues regarding support for 1st gen Ryzen.
