Doesn't work with OpenCore 0.6.0 #99

When booted with OC 0.6.0, AMD Power Gadget app gives me an error "No AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement Found! Your AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement version is outdated. Please use the lastest version and start this application again." But there's no newer version. The kexts are added in the config.plist properly.

I have been running kext and app with OC 0.6.0 nightly builds for weeks now, also with the final release I've not seen any issues.

I have booted into 0.5.9 and it works. Booted into 0.6.0 and it doesn't. Weird.

I confirm I cant change speed using OC 0.6.0, also all my cores reports avg speed of 4.1ghz when before they would be way lower and I would be able to manually set step. something is definitely broken

== EDIT

It actually works, it doesn't work after a sleep/wake cycle (monitoring and setting cpu frequency)

@Stooovie that error should cause by you are mix different version of kext and the app. Please make sure you are using them from the same release. I have not yet got a chance to test OC 0.6 and Big Sur yet, will check back when I have run some testing myself :)

Hello, I made extra sure I have everything from one release and the issue is still present... On 10.15.6 and OC 0.6.0

Hi there, I just wanted to let you guys know I'm running 10.15.6 and OC 0.6.0.

There seems to be a problem in the Automatic Speed Adjustment since the frequency seems to stay on max all the time. Other than that, clicking certain speed-step in the overview doesn't affect the power usage either. Temperature and power seem to work correctly.

For me the AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement module is detected (v0.6.4). CPU: R5 2600, MB: ROG Strix B450-I, GPU: RX570.

Please let me know if I could provide you any other details to help with this issue. Thanks for the development on this project!

I have tested and can confirm it is working with opencore 0.6. Please make sure you have the config file formatted correctly.
