What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  repo init -u git://gitorious.org/rowboat/manifest.git -m rowboat-froyo.xml
2.repo sync

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
fatal: unable to connect a socket (connection time out)
fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly
fatal: early eof. 
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 10_10
Beagle board.

Please provide any additional information below.
