This would be good but for it it to be useful you need to be able to connect to
more than one sensor at the same time. The SRM Power control 7 connects to
speed, cadence, power and heart rate sensors simultaneously and My Tracks would
need to do the same. If it did, the Power Control 7 becomes unnecessary.
Cyclists I work with may still prefer the Power Control 7 though because it
doesn't require even a single button press to display stats and record a ride
and they hate pressing buttons.

This issue is marked as Work-Large. Perhaps Google could use the Wahoo fitness
Android Library for ANT sensors to reduce the effort.
When I asked Wahoo fitness the question "We would like to use the Wahoo Android
library which we see in the Endomondo Android application. We can't find any
information on your website. Can you provide us a link." they responded in mid
November "We have not made a general release this API yet. We hope to have
something in the next few weeks."

I have an App IpSensorMan beta on the market at the moment. I am using this in
my IpBike app to provide ANT sensor support in a manner that means that
multiple Apps can get the sensor data simultaniously. I have been asked to
look at adding support for this into MyTracks. I have not checked the code yet
but I suspect that going via my IpSensorMan app the sensor can be made to look
similar to the curent SRM pc7 setup eg just a single sensor but with all ther
data.
The IpSensorMap app looks after keeping track of the users sensors and pairling
if nessasary.
I have just got the code out so I will check what the involved work looks like.

This is important as the app claims to work with SRM Power Meters but in fact
it does not connect directly to the power meter. I spent some time trying to
get My Tracks to connect with the power meter but failed. After some searching
there is a hint that you need a SRM-ANT bridge of some sort which I do not
have.
Other apps (incl mapmy**) are able to do this so surely mytracks could to.
I would like to see some clear indication that My Tracks connect connect
directly to a SRM Power Meter.

Currently, the Ant+ power profile is not implemented. We welcome contribution
from developers. We don't have a target date, but would like to support it soon.
