Crashes on iPhone 3G, first gen #64

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Debug mode seems OK, but Apple Release (compiled without the debug flag) 
critically fails 

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

This is a "new" problem, possibly related to the latest compiler.  This problem 
did not exist 2 months ago.

We have had apps rejected by Apple, and a few that got out fail at app launch 
(on 3G hardware).  We have pulled all of our pending apps from the release 
queue.

There is not nearly enough detail in your issue report to guess what may be 
going wrong.

Have you tried changing the target settings for the library to  armv6 armv7?
