Unable to create a Retrospect volume on MEDIA ... #14

Hi Allen,

With the 07-12-07 update, a MEDIA drive now shows up in the Finder. Great. I
can create folders,
that's OK. But since I want to backup to my iPhone with Retrospect, I need to
create a volume on
Media that Retrospect can backup to.

When trying, I get this message: «Impossible to create this folder, error
-5000 (server insufficient
authorizations)».

Also when selecting ROOT (AFC) in your menu, the Media drive disappears and I
have to restart your
application to get the drive again.

Regards.

Please try with the latest version and let me know if you still have this
problem. I am closing for now, but please
re-open if its a problem.

Hi Allen,

The wait should be worth it ... I do not use Retrospect anymore. I now use
CrashPlan and while the iPhoneDisk mounts automatically on my
desktop (grrrrreatttt), CrashPlan is unable to recognize the iPhoneDisk as a
backup destination.

Do you have any idea what is the problem ?

Hoping to get your reply before the end of this year ... :^)

Hi Allen,

The iPhoneDisk mounts but I am unable to drag and drop any file on the
iPhoneDisk. See tha attached file for
the error message that I get (excuse the French message, that's all I get).

Regards.
