What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launched the app
2. Icon appears in menubar, then disappears

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Console shows:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Leopard OS X.5.6

Updated MacFUSE from 2.0.1 to 2.0.3 and it appears to work now, please close

Thanks for the report anyway.  We should probably have a better way to tell 
when this happens, but i'm not sure
