Unable to use the iPhoneDisk as a backup destination for CrashPlan ... #31

Hi Allen,

iMac Intel 3.06GHZ (4GB) running OS 10.6.3

I use CrashPlan and while the iPhoneDisk now mounts automatically on my desktop 
(grrrrreatttt), 
CrashPlan is unable to recognize the iPhoneDisk as a backup destination.

Do you have any idea what is the problem ?

Hi Robert,
I downloaded CrashPlan to see if I could tell what the problem is.  I took a 
couple of hours to try to tweak the 
filesystem calls returned by GetAttr and couldn't tell what  CrashPlan did not 
like about the filesystem.  While I 
did improve some of the "stat" return values, nothing seemed to work, so I 
don't think there is much else I can 
do.

Perhaps you can ask the CrashPlan folks to describe their requirements for 
picking local backup locations.  
Since its not an open source product, I can't really tell much.

Closing this issue since there really is not anything I can see to do about it.
