App seems not compatible with Windows 11 version 22H2 #204

We have recently installed the latest version of the onlykey app on a PC running Windows 11 version 22H2, and when we try to start the app, we get the following error:

However, it seems to be working properly on a PC with the previous version of Windows 11, for example mine is version 10.0.22000.1219 and it opens correctly.

The error message, translated from Italian to English, says:

[this file] is not destined for use with Windows or contains an error. Try to reinstall the program from the installation medium or contact a system administrator or the software supplier. Error status 0xC0000045

onlykey commented 1 year ago

@tasso85 I just installed the OnlyKey App on Windows 11 version 22H2 and I did not have any issues. Are you able to reinstall the app? Is there a security product that might be preventing the app from running.

There is a security product, but it operates as a firewall and web filter, and does not operate on programs (or at least, it is not configured to do so); so, it should not be the cause of the malfunction, and that same security program is also installed on other machines where OnlyKey app works perfectly fine.

I will certainly try to reinstall the app and see if it works; I will update you ASAP.
