Have several OnlyKeys (color stds) loaded with many u2f sites. However as an early adopter they all have oldish v0.2-beta.5 firmware.

Ok that's fine. But now I want to upgrade, though also not want to loose my U2F's. However, I can't seem to backup as that requires a newer firmware. And the newer firmware needs to be loaded via Teensy, which wipes my device. 😂

Am I SOL?

Yes, unfortunately when we switched from U2F to FIDO2 everything changed you should upgrade to the non-beta firmware but you will have to reregister your U2F so you will need an alternative 2FA method set up.
