PTF update BackBox #249

Closed jtobi002 closed 7 years ago

jtobi002 commented 7 years ago

I am new to Git and the last instance on this update said to open an issue if I am running BackBox and the update didn't recognize that I was, which is what happened. I tried uploading the log of the update and Kernel and Software information but had issues so I copied and pasted it here. Should I do anything else? I apologize ahead of time if this is not even close as to what I am supposed to do. Regards,

We don't typically support other distros - since BackBox is Ubuntu based - guessing it doesn't have apt installed by default. I've added a check for aptitude just to help out the process. Should work OK now.

If you are talking about the specific installer for kingphisher - I will need to take a look at that and contact the authors.
