PHP version mismatch between Readme.md and composer.json #8

The readme reads: This code is written for PHP 5.5

but the requirement in the composer.json is php 5.2 Which one should I trust?

We updated the code to work with older versions a while back and forgot to update the readme. It should work with 5.2.0 likely also older versions at this point but that it not something that we will ensure over time.
