Transmission advantage #40

Last sentence of second paragraph of abstract: might be better just to say "an advantage" rather than "a transmission advantage." Although drift leads to an advantage that presumably improves R and so in a sense does increase transmission, this advantage probably is acting at the step of viral replication rather than the act of transmission per se.

We agree that "transmission advantage" was inexact. This has been revised to the broader "selective advantage."
