Where to but this chip

Hi, I'm very interested by this chip but it's very difficult to find. Can i Ask you where you got it? A friend of mine who use it at work told me about NDA with this chip. Is it suitable for open source projects? Thanks you.

WPG Americas used to have them but a company called EPS Global is where I last heard someone obtained them from.

PixArt does indeed require an NDA for the full data sheet. It’s really obnoxious. I never signed it because a former FAE sent me the docs without asking for an NDA. I am not a lawyer so I don’t know whether releasing code that uses information from the manuals is permitted. It may depend on the NDA. At any rate, no one’s bugged me about this repo so I assume it’s ok.

Thanks you very much for this fast answer, i'll looking for EPS global to see if i can buy one. I dont understand why the documentation require an NDA and it seems pretty dommageable for opensource projects. Sadly i didn't find more accesible replacement part. Have a nice day.

Same here. Very annoying. Maybe they have commercial customers, and they want to protect their IP from cloners.
