Why not harmonizing the tunnel encoding with the BGP Tunnel Encapsulation defined in RFC9012

Few questions:

• why SR Tunnel (17) has been deprecated?
• what about optical or other GMPLS tunnels?

BGP Tunnel Encapsulation defined in RFC9012 is orthogonal to the encoding and switching type fields modelled for the TE tunnel

An appropriate place for the Tunnel Encapsulation modelling could be in the service mapping/policy model
