Hi Janis,
I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand your issue. Can you change the Sonarworks app to respond to a different MIDI message? Midibutton sends Note Off commands as a Note On command with velocity 0, which Sonarworks should respond to (as it's part of the MIDI spec). Can you check with MIDI Monitor (or similar) that the MIDI is being sent correctly?
Thanks
Hello,
I recently tried to map MIDI button from Stream Deck with Sonarworks Reference app, where you can use MIDI commands to change the outputs on this software. I ran into a problem - the Sonarworks app gets the MIDI signal and you can assign the MIDI coming from Stream Deck's MIDI button, but it doesn't work because how it is configured to receive "Note off" command.
Sonarworks support suggested to change the "Note Off" behaviour on the Stream Deck Midi button, however it seems doesn't work properly (I tried all 3 options available there).
I tried to replicate the same setup with using Bome MIDI Translator Pro and the way how Sonarworks app receives MIDI is by using "Note off" command what you can set in the Bome MIDI Translator. It seems I can't quite configure the note behaviour in the same way in Stream Decks MIDI button.
I'm not a developer, but could it be there is some bug or missing way that could fix this issue by sending properly "Note off" message from Stream Deck?
Thank you!
P.S. there is a screenshot from Bome MIDI Translator settings that I can't get to work the same way in MIDI button.
Best, Jānis
