Capture Whole Page stopped working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to any website 
2. select "capture whole page"
3. no file save, if I turn off auto save - opens "screen capture" tab but is 
empty no capture

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the whole page is captured.  
Nothing is captured. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version - 5.03
Mac OS X 10.6.8
Chrome ver - 17.0.963.26 beta

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting and everything.  Worked 
just fine yesterday, not working today.  I have also tried disabled all other 
extensions.
