Release v1.1.0 progress #50

Closed valera-rozuvan closed 8 years ago

Hey guys ( @juliena82 , @applemuncy ). Let's use issues to track down time left to release. We will write down here any problems/concerns/updates on the work to be done to get the release out. The title of the issue will include the release number. roadmap.md will be updated if something changes (for example we decide that a feature must go into another release, not the current one).

So, for v1.1.0 we need:

  1. Adding Russian translations.
  2. Simplify way of changing video / image source, support for multiple video inputs.
  3. Stereo vision demonstration.

Please write down who is working on what, and the estimated time you think you will finish with this.

1. Adding Russian translations.

Will finish with this on Saturday, 23.01.2016. So by Sunday, 24.01.2016, it should be in master branch.

Hi @valera-rozuvan,

You wrote: "Please write down who is working on what, and the estimated time you think you will finish with this."

Sorry, but I don't agree with that. I surely did not let the project to be shared as open source so as to be "managed". If you want to manage yourself, and give delivery time, please go ahead, but I will never impose anyone to do so (all the more that I will not do it myself).

This is not a paid project, and I insist that all contributors can choose to work on any item that interest them, even if not on the current roadmap.

Also, the roadmap is just a global vision of what to be done, it should not at all be a constraint, and it can be changed as often as we change our mind.

Also, I want the developpment to remain quite free and flexible, and not too much constrained by rules taken from production domains. We don't need a project manager on this software!

So if you agree, let's close this thread.
