Currently, Alfresco supports searching on Numeric Ranges using a new Form Support control that allows for "Greater Than or Equal to" and "Less Than or Equal to". This new control is ready to be used by these repositories, but their query implementations in OC do not currently support it. @gsteimer anything else we should add to this?
