AEV Unable to copy text on MacBook #941

Need to evaluate this issue from Salesforce support case 00369077

Alfresco Enterprise Viewer 3.3 ACS 6.2.2.3 Share 6.2.2

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a PDF using AEV on a MacBook
  2. Use the "Select Text" tool
  3. Select some text on the PDF
  4. Try CMD+C (also tried CTRL+C) to copy the text
  5. Paste the copied text in a text editor

Expected Result

Observed Result on Windows 10

Observed Result on MacBook

Tested on MacOS: Big Sur, Mojave Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari

Replicated on Chrome on edge2, Big Sur. Also note that the message says to use "ctrl+c" to copy the text.

@gsteimer This is a duplicate of (albeit with more background): https://github.com/tsgrp/OpenAnnotate/issues/887 Based on Don replicating it before, I do not believe that this is something that is unique to either Alfresco or Share, it is a general frontend bug that'd equally affect stand alone AEV and/or AEV on DCTM.

Please close one of the two issues and mark the other as duplicate.
