Alfresco offers a bootstrapping mechanism that allows automatic import of ACPs into the repository (https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Bootstrap_Data). This enhancement would allow Alfresco projects to automatically deploy a 'default' set of HPI configurations upon startup.
