First of all I want to congratulate you for creating a very functional image comparison tool.

I don't think I'll make separate problems for the moment, but if you think it's necessary I will.

  1. I couldn't find a way to take a panorama shot of the compared images from the tool.
  2. I have not found a way to be able to manipulate (disconnect) one of the remaining loaded images. The idea is to align it on an object with another/other images.
  3. I did not find a way to indicate given objects on the images with fences, arrows, inscriptions, etc.
  4. The last release is from 2017, and since then as far as I can see you have made quite a few changes. Are you thinking of dropping a new release? As far as I can see I can download the project and it seems to work, but still.

Thank you for reminding me of a couple of things that are missing from this tool!

Here are my quick thoughts on your comments.

  1. That would be nice Indeed. I often take a screen capture for that purpose. But it contains unnecessary UI elements.
  2. That's nice to have too. Maybe locking/unlocking pan and zoom of an image?
  3. That's nice to have too.
  4. I will think of it.

Maybe I can start from 4.

Regarding point 2 - Yes, I think something like that.

A few more things I remembered/noticed after writing the first comment:

5 At very high resolution of the image - it is not visualized correctly (scratches are obtained) when it is not in original size. I provide a test image: 326418026-256f46a6-8b0a-4cc8-9e9c-8957eef18a38

  1. If a preview of the size in percentage can be added. It is currently unclear when the image is in original size.
  2. If a keyboard shortcut/button can be added to display images in actual size.
  3. Ability to view the images in a frame like a square/rectangle 2x2, 3x3, etc. Two up and two down. frame square
  4. I added two absolutely identical images with the difference in the spelling of the nominal value. I understand that purely mathematically the images have little difference, but from a human perspective the difference is only in the values. I see that it is possible to fine-tune the comparison, but my attempts have been unsuccessful in getting them to come out as only the nominal value difference. I tried X- and Y-aligning the two images, but again there was a big difference everywhere. Also, in my opinion, it would be good if the adjustment could be done by manipulating one of the images by clicking on it and dragging it, and not by moving it with X and Y values. pr_20231229_50lv_img3_bg pr_20231229_100lv_img4_bg

Regarding point 5, I could find a rendering issue on Firefox with your image. See the center of the attached screenshot. Is this your point? Chrome and Edge don't seem to have similar issues. image

Rather, when I load the image it is not in original size and there is pixelation in some parts. I will try to show them in the video. When enlarged and then reduced to the smallest possible size, they are more clearly visible. I am testing it on Chrome v128.0.6613.85.
