Hi! Thanks for providing logs, unfortunately, I think they may have been cut off as I do not see a motion event in the logs. In general, the logs will tell you what is happening as it will show the motion event, the attempt to request the motion snapshot, and whether that attempt was successful or not. Without the logs of the event, it's pretty much just a guessing game.
Also, do you definitely have a subscription (the logs imply that you do, but there is one odd thing in the screenshot that makes me question it). Subscription is required to get motion snapshots for battery cameras.
It seems like the motion events dont show up in the logs. On my phone they do show up.
One odd thing i noticed, is the "Event Select" in Home Assistant doesn't work anymore, i tried to change the value in the "ring-state.json" in the past for testing but that didn't help.
I also have an active "Protect Basic" subscription.
Motion events will show in the log if they are working, which you indicated above they are. A typical motion event will look something like this:

The ring-state.json file is not intended for user modification and also has nothing to do with snapshots or event notifications. If you have directly edited this file then I would suggest starting from scratch.
@tsightler i just installed everything from scratch and it seems to be working now.... i can see a motion event in the logs now and home assistant shows me the snapshot.
Thank you for your help!
